You will be part of the Tax practice and you will support indirect tax compliance, reporting, research, consulting, planning, and integration activities. You will work closely and proactively alongside numerous clients. This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple industries and companies as they grow and scale.  Your Typical, Atypical, Day<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Tax Compliance – Analyze and accurately prepare required tax returns and related payments. Ensure the appropriate taxes are collected or assessed and properly remitted including Nexus Studies and Voluntary Disclosure Agreements</li><li>Technical Tax Research – Monitor, research, and examine tax issues affecting clients and communicate appropriate tax positions through written or oral presentation</li><li>Tax Planning – Assist clients with indirect tax controversy notices. Monitor client’s business and develop tax strategy. Assemble and maintain accounting and tax records to support filed returns and financial statement accounting</li><li>Tax Technology – Identify ways to streamline and improve processes through data analytics and other technology tools including software integration. Educate and train clients on these solutions.</li></ul>About You<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law, or related field AND 3-5 years of income tax experience</li><li>Experience in international tax issues</li><li>Detailed understanding and knowledge of tax principles</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and reprioritize as needed</li><li>Experience in process improvement, governance, and cross-functional collaboration </li><li>Strong collaboration and business partnering skills, including excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>On track for EA/CPA or Master's in Taxation and/or JD/LLM</li><li>Global income tax experience in the technology industry and/or multinational company.</li><li>Familiarity with SaaS, FinTech, and/or eCommerce taxation trends and the international income tax implications.</li><li>Experience using G-suite applications (Spreadsheet, Docs, Slides, etc.).</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to think “big picture” and understand key trends and levers that drive business compliance.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting tax law and solutions.</li><li>A great sense of accuracy and problem-resolution skills.</li></ul> What We Offer<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance.</li><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance for you and your dependents.</li><li>Short &amp; Long Term Disability Insurance to support you when you need it the most.</li><li>Flexible PTO - Take time off from work when you need it.</li><li>401k with a company match to ensure you are ready for retirement.</li><li>A generous home office expense reimbursement so you have the office you need to be productive.</li><li>Forget the commute! Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition full-time regular positions are eligible for, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time.
