You will be part of the Tax Team and will support indirect tax compliance, reporting, research, consulting, planning, and integration activities. You will work closely and proactively alongside numerous clients. This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple organizations and companies as they grow and scale.  Your Typical, Atypical, Day:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Tax Compliance – Analyze and accurately prepare required tax returns and related payments. Ensure the appropriate taxes are collected or assessed and properly remitted including Nexus Studies and Voluntary Disclosure Agreements</li><li>Technical Tax Research – Monitor, research and examine tax issues affecting clients and communicate appropriate tax positions through written or oral presentation</li><li>Tax Planning – Assist clients with indirect tax controversy notices. Monitor client’s business and develop tax strategy. Assemble and maintain accounting and tax records to support filed returns and financial statement accounting</li><li>Tax Technology – Identify ways to streamline and improve processes through data analytics and other technology tools including software integration. Educate and train clients on these solutions.</li></ul> About You<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law, or related field AND 3-5 years of multi-jurisdictional indirect tax advisory services and indirect tax compliance</li><li>Detailed understanding and knowledge of multi-jurisdictional indirect tax principles</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple projects, and priorities, and reprioritize as needed in this fast-paced environment. </li><li>Experience in process improvement, governance, and cross-functional collaboration </li><li>Strong collaboration and business partnering skills, including excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Google G Suite (Spreadsheet, Docs, Slides, etc.)</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Experience with SaaS, FinTech, and/or eCommerce businesses, taxation trends, and international indirect tax implications.</li><li>A great sense of accuracy and problem-resolution skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to think “big picture” and understand key trends and levers that drive business compliance.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting tax law and solutions.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance.</li><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance for you and your dependents.</li><li>Short &amp; Long Term Disability Insurance to support you when you need it the most.</li><li>Flexible PTO - Take time off from work when you need it.</li><li>401k with a company match to ensure you are ready for retirement.</li><li>A generous home office expense reimbursement so you have the office you need to be productive.</li><li>Forget the commute! Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition, full-time regular positions are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time.
