Xtended Gaming is looking for a skilled Technical Operations Engineer to join the crew.
Responsibilities 
<ul><li dir="ltr">Ensuring that best practices and IT processes are followed whilst assisting in standardising and continually improving such processes</li><li dir="ltr">Promoting the “infrastructure as code” and automation mentality within the Team</li><li dir="ltr">Supporting the IT services, providing application support, performing user maintenance, and taking responsibility and ownership of service requests and user incidents.</li><li dir="ltr">Ensuring security software is kept up to date.</li><li dir="ltr">Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.</li><li dir="ltr">Responding to general IT requests and maintaining user-related equipment, software, and inventory</li><li dir="ltr">Assessing current systems to secure best practices and balance by complying with policies and procedures.</li><li dir="ltr">Managing the host environment to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity.</li><li dir="ltr">Optimising performance of databases, networks, applications, and servers.</li><li dir="ltr">Devops/CI maintenance.</li><li dir="ltr">Monitoring operating system performance (i.e., Windows, Linux, or Mac OS).</li></ul> Requirements
Experience and understanding of the following:
<ul><li>Azure</li>
<li>Kubernetes and Docker</li>
<li>PostgreSQL and replication</li>
<li>Experience working with Linux systems</li>
<li>Experience on automation tools such as Ansible, Octopus Deploy or similar</li><li>Knowledge on scripting languages such as Bash or Powershell</li>
<li>Good understanding of the M365 and Azure ecosystem</li>
<li>Knowledge of Active Directory, Operating Systems (Windows,Mac OS, Linux) and Backup Procedures</li></ul>
