Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is perfect for a strategic legal leader who excels in navigating complex legal landscapes while advancing business objectives.What you'll do:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Oversee all legal matters, including commercial contracts, privacy, and compliance.</li><li>Manage and update subscription agreements, NDAs, and contractor/consultant agreements.</li><li>Review employment agreements, variable compensation plans, and separation agreements.</li><li>Advise on ethical data practices and privacy compliance.</li><li>Lead equity management and oversee legal setup in international markets, including Canada and India.</li><li>Provide legal opinions on confidentiality and data handling practices.</li></ul>What we look for:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>6+ years of legal experience, including corporate, employment, and commercial law.</li><li>Proven track record of managing complex contracts and compliance issues.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience with legal setup and compliance in international markets, particularly Canada and India.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Admission to a state bar in good standing; multi-jurisdictional experience preferred.</li></ul>Benefits &amp; Perks:Our goal is to empower every team member to contribute to our mission of fostering a more just world, regardless of their role, location, or level of experience.
