WIT Services is seeking someone who has experience managing and growing social media channels to promote a company. In this role, you will curate and execute social media strategies to attract followers that are ideal clients for WIT Services. The ideal client would include owners and operators of apartment complexes, commercial buildings, insurance agents, insurance adjusters, and real estate agents.

WIT Services stands for Whatever It Takes. The company does mold remediation, water damage restoration, and other services needed by clients. After experiencing exponential growth, the company is ready to continue the momentum by expanding marketing to social media channels.

As a Social Media Manager, you let creativity guide your process, and you can design scroll-stopping images. Your design eye is a must, and you can carry that from Canva to Instagram. You can also write copy that captures WIT’s voice to attract the attention of ideal clients. Video is also a large part of your strategy. You can edit a reel to deem it scroll-stopping.

That includes brainstorming, planning, creating, designing, filming, writing, editing, scheduling and tracking KPIs.

Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role)

Maintain the bios and links that are on each platform natively (ie. the link in our Instagram bio)
Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar
Write copy, create graphics, and overall curate content to go on each social platform
Utilize video as a medium for social content. This includes planning and creating prompts.
Travel to studio in Atlanta as needed (approximately 1x per quarter) to film content
Edit videos and publish on social media
Schedule posts to publish on ideal days/times for optimized traffic
Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools
Generate weekly reports on social media performance and initiatives to improve performance
Track KPIs and use data analytics to make decisions

Offer Details

This is a part-time, employee position.

Pay is between $30-$40/hour (based on experience).
