AI and Data Scientist

The opportunity

AJW is building its next phase of capability around data, AI, and automation to deliver on its mission to transform aviation efficiency. This role is focused on applying AI and data science to real operational challenges across AJW Group. You will design and deploy practical solutions that improve speed and efficiency and increase reliability across AJW’s global operations.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve forecasting, inventory optimisation, and demand planning

2. Build AI-driven solutions to automate manual processes across operations, logistics, and commercial teams

3. Analyse large operational datasets to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

4. Translate business challenges into scalable data science solutions with measurable impact

5. Work closely with operational leaders to embed AI into day-to-day decision-making

6. Design and maintain data pipelines and models that integrate with existing systems (e.g. ERP platforms such as Quantum)

7. Monitor and continuously improve model performance in live environments

8. Communicate outputs clearly to senior stakeholders, linking insights to commercial outcomes
