Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java Spring Boot in a global, cross-time-zone environment. Build production LLM systems to power business functions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
Build high-performance, available, and secure backend systems to support operations.
Collaborate with teammates across time zones.
Work with product managers to own end-to-end system architecture.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
Build production LLM systems to power business functions with automation and reproducibility.
Optimize and support LLM workloads in on-prem environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of software development and architecture experience.
Strong Java expertise and backend frameworks (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs).
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices.
Experience in LLM-related architecture design, code development, and performance tuning.
Experience in LLM training and development of optimization tools.
Bilingual English/Mandarin for coordinating with overseas partners.

Nice to Have

Full-stack development experience.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Knowledge of blockchain technology.
