Backend Java Engineer - Kazakhstan/Russian speaker (6 months Contract) – Remote Job at Binance | Find My Remote

Design, build, and maintain scalable Java backend services for Binance BigPay, including AI/LLM-powered features, with a focus on reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
Build a high-performance, available, and secure backend for BigPay Fiat operations.
Improve the full service lifecycle from design to deployment and operation.
Develop and maintain tools; redesign capacity planning for scalability.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure data security across end-to-end systems.
Build production LLM systems to power business functions with automation and reproducibility.
Optimize and support LLM workloads in on-prem environments.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years in software development and architecture.
Strong Java expertise and backend frameworks (Spring Boot, REST APIs).
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices.
In-depth Linux and computer networks understanding.
Profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing ML apps.
Bilingual English/Mandarin for coordination.
Java code development experience; Apache open-source project experience preferred.
Experience in HA, high performance, and resource optimization.
LLM project architecture design, development, and performance tuning.
LLM training and optimization tool development.
