BryceTech is seeking a Public Health Analyst to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with public health program analysis, coordination, research, and administrative support. The Public Health Analyst will assist with evaluating public health programs and initiatives, analyzing programmatic information and data, preparing reports and briefings, and coordinating with CDC staff and other stakeholders to support effective program execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in public health, healthcare, epidemiology, health policy, or a related field and be comfortable translating complex information into clear, actionable products for government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of public health programs and initiatives
- Conduct research and analysis of public health policies, programs, processes, and emerging issues
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative information from a variety of sources
- Assist with identifying programmatic trends, challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop reports, presentations, briefing materials, talking points, memoranda, and other program documentation
- Support the development and tracking of program performance measures, milestones, deliverables, and action items
- Assist with monitoring program activities and identifying issues requiring follow-up or escalation
- Coordinate with CDC personnel, federal partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and support program objectives
- Participate in meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements and document key decisions and action items
- Support responses to data calls, information requests, leadership inquiries, and other programmatic requirements
- Assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, guidance, and other program documentation
- Apply public health principles and analytical methodologies to support program decision-making
- Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans related to public health programs and emerging issues
- Assist with quality assurance and review of programmatic materials and deliverables
- Perform other related duties in support of CDC public health programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, healthcare administration, epidemiology, health policy, social sciences, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience supporting public health programs, healthcare initiatives, federal programs, research, analysis, or related activities
- Experience conducting research, analysis, and synthesis of complex information
- Experience developing professional reports, presentations, briefings, and other written products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize multiple assignments, prioritize competing requirements, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with government clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CDC or other HHS agencies
- Experience supporting federal public health programs or government contracts
- Knowledge of CDC programs, policies, processes, and organizational structures
- Experience with program monitoring, performance measurement, or program evaluation
- Experience analyzing public health or healthcare data
- familiarity with federal acquisition, grants, cooperative agreements, or other government assistance mechanisms
- Master's degree in public health, health administration, epidemiology, health policy, or a related discipline
