Manager, Field Marketing
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire event strategy efforts for lead generationand customer engagementat events includingthe planning anddevelopment of necessarypromotional materials, setting up lead capture system, andidentifyingkey target audiences.
- Plan and execute a range of field marketing initiatives, including live events, tradeshows,executive events, customerconferenceand experientialmarketing campaigns that align with the company’s overall marketingobjectives.
- Oversee alllogistics, coordination, and on-site management of events and tradeshows. Ensure seamless execution, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up.
- Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align event strategies with business goals and salesobjectives.
- Collaborate with regional team members within Revenue and Product to ensureappropriatetacticaland strategicengagementof current,potentialand former customers.
- Ensure brand consistencyand awarenessacross all field marketing activities, ensuring that messaging, booth design, promotional materials, and overall event experience align with company values and standards.
- Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring that all events areexecutedwithin budget while maximizing ROI.
- Regularly reportand analyze the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns. Provide post-eventsummaries, including key metrics such as lead generation, attendance, and engagement, in addition to key learnings.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with vendors, event organizers, and industry partners to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Manage, coach,and mentorasmallteam ofevent andfield marketing professionals to ensure productive performance and talent pipeline growth within the department and broader business division.
- Identify,createandmaintaina calendar ofeventsthatkeepsstakeholdersinformed,andrun events that will attract and impress our target audience.
- Create and own a standardized Skillable event playbook toexecute andsupport various sized eventsfocused ondedicated internal customers including direct U.S. sales, EMEA sales and partnerships.
- Generate leads at events by meeting with attendees, deliveringpresentationsor demonstrations andprocuringcontact information.
- Track the success of lead generation efforts and report on key metrics, such as the number of leads generated,conversionrates, and ROI.
- Support and promote the company values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Other strategic business initiatives or special cross-functional project involvement asrequired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field orequivalentprofessional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in field marketing, with a strong focus on live events,tradeshows, and experiential marketing.
- 2+ years of management experience leading functional work groups or project teams successfully.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams of varying sizes, ensuring productivity,collaborationand achievement of team goals.
- Proficient in event planning software and tools such asHubspot
- Proventrack recordof successfully managing and executing large-scale events and marketing initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally and promoting collaborative partnerships to drive results.
- Ability to present and convey material both formally and informally to all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong experience withbudgeting,event boothdesign,vendormanagement,logistics,and on-site coordination leadership
- Ability to analyze event performance andprovidedata-driven insights to improve future campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experiencemanaging toa budget and closely delivering within expense constraints.
- Big picture thinker withmeticulousattention to detail.
- Ability to travel and work flexiblehours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events andtradeshows.
Salary Range
The base salary for this position is $105,000 - $140,000 annually. Consistent with applicable laws, compensation will be determined based on the candidate's level, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience along with requirements for the position and annual financial plans.
Skillable is a distributed first team with employees working across the U.S., and we do not consider geography when determining compensation ranges.
Please note that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Skillable reserves the right to modify this compensation range at any time.
Pay range and current benefit offerings are effective for 90 days from posting date. Standard employment offerings are subject to potential change upon periodic review and analysis, at the discretion of Skillable.

Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a remote home office setting, requiring a space that supports privacy and focus to attend to regular and frequent video and voice calls. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Periodic travel may be required equaling up to approximately 25-35% of the time.
