Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed Go systems for high-scale messaging
- Collaborate across teams to debug issues and deliver reliability
- Own problems end to end—from architecture to monitoring
- Share progress publicly via videos, writing, and mentorship
- Use AI agents to scope work, craft prompts, and verify changes
Requirements
- 7+ years building scalable distributed systems in Go or statically typed languages
- Cloud-native experience (AWS, GCP)
- Relational databases (MySQL) and performance tradeoffs
- Experience with observability tooling and production systems
- Bias for action and ownership of technical decisions
