Design, build, and evolve distributed Go-based backend systems to power messaging at scale with reliability and performance.

Design and build distributed Go backends for timely, relevant messages at scale.
Collaborate across teams to debug issues and deliver reliable solutions.
Own end-to-end problems from architecture to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Share knowledge publicly via videos, writing, and mentorship to raise the bar.
Use AI agents to scope work, write prompts, and verify output.

7+ years building scalable distributed systems in Go or similar statically typed languages.
Experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL) and performance tradeoffs.
Experience with observability tooling and running production systems.
Bias for action and ownership of technical decisions.
