Ideal Profile
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination roles
- Certification in Project Coordination is preferred
- Experience within the construction and/or renovation industry is highly advantageous
Technical & Organisational Skills
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience using Buildxact or similar project management platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Communication & Problem-Solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in stakeholder interactions
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to think critically and ask insightful questions to drive outcomes
- Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and resolving issues professionally
Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking renovation projects from commencement to completion
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to support efficient project delivery
- Monitor project timelines and proactively identify potential risks or delays
Operations Support
- Liaise with site supervisors and trades to facilitate day-to-day project activities
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site access requirements
- Ensure works progress in accordance with project plans and specifications
Internal Communication
- Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilise communication platforms to support collaboration, calls, and messaging
- Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, and changes
- Support stakeholder management by addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively
Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including quotes and contracts
- Monitor budgets, invoices, and project variations
- Ensure compliance with relevant permits, approvals, and safety requirements
