Responsibilities
- Autonomously lead full-stack projects, balancing tradeoffs between tech and business.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Set a high bar for quality; identify risks and champion best practices via reviews.
- Mentor teammates with actionable feedback to help them grow.
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot customer issues using logs and metrics.
Requirements
- 9+ years of software engineering experience.
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.
- Experience delivering large-scale web apps with a user-focused approach.
- Thrives in agile, fast-paced environments with continuous deployment and rapid iteration.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with TypeScript, GraphQL, HAML, and PostgreSQL.
