  • As a Junior Fraud Analyst, you'll join our Transaction Monitoring team and work hands-on with the daily monitoring and handling of potential fraud cases.

  • This is a part-time position of approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, with a particular focus on evening and weekend shifts. There are no night shifts.

  • You don't need previous fraud monitoring experience to join. You'll receive training and support from the team to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become confident working independently.

  • The role is based in Finland. While we offer remote working, you'll need to attend the office during your initial training period before moving into the team's normal working model.

  • For someone interested in building a career in fraud prevention or financial services, this is a great entry point with the opportunity to develop towards more advanced Fraud Analyst responsibilities over time.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Monitor and investigate daily fraud alerts using our transaction monitoring tools.

  • Review transactions and identify potentially suspicious or fraudulent activity.

  • Take appropriate operational action based on fraud alerts and established processes.

  • Conduct Common Purchase Point analysis to help identify fraud patterns.

  • Handle compromised account and card-related tasks to help mitigate fraud risk and protect cardholders.

  • Document cases accurately and ensure fraud-related operational tasks are completed on time.

  • Communicate clearly with customers when potential fraudulent activity is identified.

  • Escalate complex or unusual cases appropriately and work with experienced team members to reach the right outcome.

  • Learn about evolving fraud patterns, tools and fraud prevention practices.

  • Work agreed evening and weekend shifts as part of the team's Monday to Sunday coverage model.

What You'll Bring:

  • A willingness to learn and develop within fraud prevention and financial services.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Previous customer service experience, for example within retail or a contact centre, would be valuable.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make careful decisions when reviewing transactions and fraud alerts.

  • Reliability and the ability to stay composed when handling unexpected or time-sensitive situations.

  • A proactive, curious and positive approach to your work.

  • Confidence learning and using new systems and tools.

  • Basic analytical skills and an interest in identifying patterns and understanding transaction data.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the confidence to ask for support or escalate when needed.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, including agreed evening and weekend shifts.

  • Previous experience in fraud monitoring, payments, banking or financial services would be an advantage, but is not required.

  • You must be based in Finland and able to attend the office during the initial training period.
