Biometric Systems Specialist
We currently have a vacancy for a Biometric Systems Specialist to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analyse and maintain the requirements regarding the biometric matching systems’ configuration in terms of performance, accuracy, data quality and transactions;
- Interpret and verify the test results;
- Analyse and propose solutions for future improvements;
- Provide relevant training on core biometric matching technologies;
- Support other contractors to implement or test biometric-related functionalities and infrastructure;
- Analyse and verify the result of the testing contractor, determine deviations to the system SLAs in regards to system performance, biometric performance and other characteristics and configurations related to the biometric matching Systems.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience;
- At least 7 years of experience as a biometric specialist;
- Excellent knowledge of biometric modalities (fingerprint, face, iris, voice, palm, behavioural biometrics);
- Excellent knowledge of biometric system architecture and end-to-end workflows;
- Excellent knowledge of pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision fundamentals;
- Good knowledge of core biometric matching technologies;
- Excellent command of the English language.
