Develop and maintain responsive React web apps across mobile and desktop for a live social sportsbook; collaborate across backend, design, and DevOps, with a focus on real-time performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive React web apps across mobile and desktop.
Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and designers to implement features and optimize the live product.
Support live platform by diagnosing and resolving real-time performance issues.
Design scalable, responsive UIs with pure CSS/SCSS (no external frameworks).
Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to maintain quality.
Leverage Redux and React-Redux bindings with Thunk/Saga for state management.
Implement RESTful APIs using axios/fetch, with optional GraphQL via Apollo Client.

Requirements

5+ years building modern web apps with ReactJS and hooks.
Advanced TypeScript: utility types, generics, and infer.
Solid Redux, React-Redux bindings, and internal hooks.
Strong CSS/SCSS; build reusable, responsive UIs w/o external libs.
Knowledge of WebSockets (native and socket.io) for real-time data.
Experience with RESTful APIs, axios, and fetch; GraphQL/Apollo is a plus.
Familiarity with React Router for dynamic imports and code-splitting.
Proficiency with UI tools like Figma, React DevTools, Jest, Cypress.
Adaptability and problem-solving for real-time challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
