The company operates through a portfolio of specialised technology brands and works with distributed engineering teams across Europe. The development teams focus on building reliable, scalable, and secure payment integrations for modern e-commerce environments.

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to support the development of payment plugins for a modern payment platform used by businesses across multiple sectors.

In this role, you will collaborate remotely with a UK-based engineering team and focus primarily on developing and maintaining e-commerce payment integrations.

This is a part-time position (0.25 FTE), equivalent to approximately 42 hours per month.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of payment plugins for an e-commerce payment platform

  • Working mainly with WooCommerce (approx. 90%) and Magento (approx. 10%) integrations

  • Improving and maintaining existing plugins and integrations

  • Ensuring reliability, performance, and security of payment solutions

  • Supporting testing and deployment processes across development, test, and production environments

  • Collaborating with an international, distributed engineering team

Requirements

  • Strong and solid PHP development skills

  • Commercial experience working with WooCommerce and Magento

  • Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript

  • Experience with configuring and managing Dev / Test / Production environments

  • Familiarity with on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments (preferably AWS)

  • Experience in e-commerce systems or payment integrations will be a plus

  • English at B2 level or higher
