Job Title: Compliance Specialist, Licensing - Remote
Duration: 4-4.5 months with possible extension

Compensation: The pay offered to a successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including education, work experience, location, job responsibilities, certifications, and more. Additionally, IntelliPro provides a comprehensive benefits package, all subject to eligibility.
Duration: 4-4.5 months with possible extension

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of duties to assist the Professional Licensing team.
- Conduct thorough research on licensing topics with state agencies
- Analyze licensing requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Maintain, monitor and update data in an internal licensing management system for individual license work
- Pull and administer weekly licensing reports for Business Lines Compliance Teams, Management Teams and Business stakeholders
- Coordinate communication with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders regarding licensing matters
- Complete license verification checks with state agencies and escalates exceptions to management
- Reconcile expenses related to license applications, renewal and general license maintenance
- Complete administrative tasks such as ordering licensing documentation from state agencies
- Submit new, transition, amendment, and surrender filings via NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System).
- Review and advise licensees on ensuring all requirements are met for new licenses
- Review licensee rosters and ensure upcoming renewal and education deadlines are adhered to
- Facilitate and complete documentation signings with internal licensees during onboarding and renewals
- Multitask and work independently to deliver high-quality service and results in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirement:
- At least 5 years of experience with mortgage or equivalent licensing and/or compliance experience in a regulated industry
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to understand the regulatory framework and industry practices applicable to title insurance, mortgage licensing or other state-licensed entities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with exposure to confidential information and an understanding of the importance of maintaining such confidentiality including legal, financial, and personal information
- Proven analytical ability and initiative
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in document management and electronic record keeping
- Ability to effectively handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Experience with NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System), Sircon, and/or NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) preferred
- Proficient within the Microsoft and Google suites.
