You will play a central role in generating and developing new business opportunities within the SME market, working closely with brokers, sales managers, and regional teams. The position combines proactive prospecting, relationship management, and consultative B2B sales in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment. You will manage sales opportunities from initial outreach through the full sales cycle while helping clients navigate international health and expatriate coverage solutions. Collaboration, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills will be essential to building a high-quality pipeline and driving sustainable business growth. Accountabilities:
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of SME sales opportunities through outbound prospecting via phone, email, video, and social channels.
- Identify and qualify multinational employers with globally mobile or expatriate employee populations across the Canadian market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, partners, and key influencers to advance business opportunities.
- Manage assigned SME opportunities throughout the full sales cycle up to a defined revenue threshold.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams and marketing teams to support campaigns, webinars, events, and growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting data within Salesforce and support regular pipeline review discussions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on international employee health solutions, clearly articulating product value and market positioning.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, lead generation, or outbound prospecting.
- Experience within insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or professional services is considered an asset.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales, pipeline, or lead-generation targets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Copilot.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving business needs.
