This role sits at the core of a large-scale financial marketplace platform, where you will shape the long-term strategy for critical components of a home lending supply ecosystem. You will own key parts of the pricing and product infrastructure that power mortgage and refinance experiences, ensuring the platform can scale with increasing complexity and traffic demands. Acting as a strategic leader, you will define multi-quarter roadmaps, translate system-level challenges into clear product direction, and guide investment decisions across engineering, data, and design teams. The environment is highly cross-functional and data-driven, requiring strong systems thinking and the ability to align multiple stakeholders around shared outcomes. You will play a central role in modernizing legacy infrastructure and improving the reliability, scalability, and intelligence of pricing and advertiser workflows. Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the strategy and evolution of major platform components within a complex financial marketplace ecosystem, focusing on scalability, pricing logic, and system reliability. You will define long-term product direction and ensure execution aligns with measurable business and platform outcomes.

  • Define and lead multi-quarter product strategy for core platform systems within the home lending supply ecosystem
  • Own roadmap prioritization and investment decisions across pricing, data, and advertiser workflow systems
  • Partner with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver scalable and high-quality platform solutions
  • Translate complex system constraints into clear product direction and actionable execution plans
  • Define success metrics tied to platform performance, scalability, revenue impact, and user outcomes
  • Drive modernization efforts for legacy pricing and marketplace infrastructure
  • Build alignment across stakeholders and ensure coherence across multiple roadmap streams
  • Maintain deep domain expertise in pricing engines, lending logic, and marketplace systems
  • Requirements

    This role requires strong product leadership experience combined with deep systems thinking and familiarity with complex financial or marketplace platforms. You should be comfortable operating at a strategic level while understanding technical constraints and trade-offs.

    • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in platform, fintech, or marketplace environments
    • Strong understanding of pricing systems, mortgage lending, or home finance ecosystems is highly preferred
    • Experience with pricing engines, ideally including tools or systems like Optimal Blue, Mortech, or similar
    • Proven ability to modernize complex legacy systems and drive platform scalability
    • Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear strategy
    • Experience defining outcome-driven roadmaps tied to revenue or platform performance
    • Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, design, and business teams
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and articulate complex technical and strategic concepts

      • Total cash compensation range: $100,000 – $195,000 per year (based on experience and location)
