Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Territory Manager - OEM in the United States.

This role is focused on driving strategic OEM sales growth across a defined U.S. territory, with a strong emphasis on technical solution selling within highly regulated and industrial markets. The position blends technical expertise with commercial strategy, requiring close collaboration with engineering and operations teams. You will own territory planning, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting while ensuring strong execution against growth targets. This is a high-impact, field-based role for a driven sales professional with a strong “hunter” mindset and a passion for complex technical solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Drive new business development within OEM accounts, focusing on nuclear and pharmaceutical industries, while expanding market presence across an assigned U.S. territory.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities related to mechanical seals, rotating equipment, and engineered industrial solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with revenue growth objectives and long-term business expansion plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, customers, and senior stakeholders to support account growth and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations, ensuring timely and accurate customer response.
  • Manage pipeline activity, sales forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure visibility and achievement of targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Requirements

    • 4–5+ years of technical sales experience in mechanical seals, pumps, or rotating equipment industries.
    • Proven track record in new business development and revenue generation with a strong “hunter” mindset.
    • Prior OEM sales experience strongly preferred, ideally within industrial or engineered solutions environments.
    • Background working with or knowledge of competitors such as John Crane or Flowserve is an advantage.
    • Strong technical aptitude; engineering degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage territory planning, travel schedules, and pipeline priorities effectively.
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role with frequent travel.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and market standards.
      • Performance-based incentives tied to sales results and territory growth.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
      • Flexible work approach with significant field autonomy and territory ownership.
      • Professional development opportunities within a global industrial organization.
      • Strong support from technical, engineering, and service teams to enable sales success.
