Position: AI Training Data Writer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Write realistic prompts reflecting professional and everyday user requests across categories such as Communication, Essays, Concepts, Journalism, Business, Academic, and Product & Marketing.
• Craft polished, high-quality responses demonstrating strong writing skills in tone, structure, accuracy, and audience-awareness.
• Adapt voice and style to match the context, ensuring a casual Slack message reads differently than a news explainer or a product requirements document.
• Ensure all work is entirely human-written; LLM-generated content is strictly prohibited.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Professional experience in journalism, education, content marketing, non-fiction writing, communications, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio or track record of published writing, editorial work, curriculum development, or content strategy.
• Range and versatility in writing across multiple formats, audiences, and levels of formality.
• Sharp instincts for tone, structure, and clarity.
• Strong attention to detail and a high personal bar for quality.
