Position: Electrical & Hardware Engineering Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$120/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Apply hands-on electrical and hardware engineering expertise to complex engineering tasks.
• Review and evaluate hardware designs, engineering workflows, and troubleshooting approaches.
• Analyze design trade-offs, failure modes, and system-level engineering decisions.
• Assess the technical correctness of solutions for real-world hardware problems.
• Identify errors, missing assumptions, and potential design risks.
• Develop or review engineering problems, reference solutions, and evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years of professional industry experience, including 3 years of recent hands-on experience in hardware development.
• Direct experience as the responsible engineer for substantial hardware development workflows.
• Expertise in RF systems, Power Electronics, Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design, PCB Architecture, or Signal Integrity.
• Strong understanding of engineering constraints like component selection and system integration.
• Experience debugging hardware using laboratory equipment and simulation tools.
• Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly.

Preferred

• Experience with companies that design and manufacture physical hardware products.
