Remote software engineer building AI-powered interviewing tools and automation, with frontend React UIs and backend services.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered interviewing tools and automation to optimize hiring infrastructure.
- Implement frontend experiences with React for recruiters, interviewers, and candidates.
- Build backend services for scheduling, AI transcription, and automation.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate GPT-4o and AI tech for feedback.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Devmate.
- Support autonomous scheduling improvements to reduce coordinator interventions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of software engineering with OO languages (Java, C++, C#).
- Experience with scripting languages: Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks: React, Vue, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and independent work capability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Devmate.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API design patterns.
- React ecosystem experience including Relay for data fetching.
- Knowledge of AI/ML tech and integrating language models into production apps.
