Position: Writing Expert
Type: Freelance
Compensation: $35–$40/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 2 months
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design detailed prompts with multiple constraints and instructions to optimize AI model training.
• Define and document evaluation standards to establish high-level expectations for correct responses in consumer contexts. Develop a comprehensive rubric.
• Conduct model testing by running prompts through models and assessing preliminary outputs against expectations.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance by collaborating in QA review processes. Ensure prompt tasks and rubrics meet rigor and maintain consistency before integration into official benchmarks.
• Work independently and meet deadlines while contributing to a structured project environment with clear goals and tools.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BS or BA from a reputable institution completed or in progress.
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Significant familiarity with ChatGPT or similar tools for personal decision-making or hobbies/general interests.
• US or Canada based.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or research.
