Design, implement, and maintain backend services in Go for Mirantis MSR4, an enterprise-grade container registry integrated with Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, implement, review, and test Go-based frameworks and services.
- Participate in requirements, design, planning, and retrospectives in Agile teams.
- Contribute to sprints by delivering items aligned with team goals.
- Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist within the company and community.
- Maintain Mirantis projects by managing contributions, patches, and reviews.
- Own and drive new projects; influence roadmap and make them happen.
- Serve as technical reference for external partners and internal teams.
- Contribute to testing with automation and test plan reviews.
- Ensure MSR fits diverse customer solutions and works with orchestrators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience debugging multi-process, orchestrated, distributed systems.
- Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and registries (Harbor preferred).
- 5+ years of development in Linux/Unix-like environments.
- 3+ years of Go experience or equivalent production language.
Nice to Have
- Open-source Kubernetes or Go tooling contributions.
- Certifications like CKA, CKAD, or DCA.
- Shell scripting or Python experience.
- Experience with container registries (Harbor/MSR), OCI, Docker, Swarm.
