Senior Software Engineer (Backend, MSR4, remote) – Remote Job at Mirantis | Find My Remote

Design, implement, and maintain Go-based backend services for MSR4 within an Agile team.

Design, architect, implement, review, and test Go-based frameworks and services.
Participate in requirements, design, planning, and retrospectives in Agile teams.
Contribute to sprints by implementing items aligned with team goals.
Act as a subject-matter expert and evangelist for the team.
Maintain Mirantis projects by managing contributions and patches.
Influence roadmaps and own new projects.
Serve as technical reference for partners and internal teams.
Contribute to automation and test plan reviews to prevent regressions.
Ensure MSR integrates with existing systems and orchestrators.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related subject.
5+ years development experience in Linux or Unix-like environments.
3+ years of Go development for production systems.
Debugging multi-process, orchestrated, distributed systems.
Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and registries (Harbor preferred).
Experience with container registries (Harbor/MSR), OCI specs, Docker and/or Swarm.
