Data Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Data Analyst to support a UK-based employer in turning complex data into clear, actionable business insights. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the collection, cleaning, and analysis of business data from multiple sources
• Handle dashboard creation, reporting automation, and ad hoc data requests
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of data models, reporting outputs, and analysis documentation
• Use relevant tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Support the wider team with data storytelling, KPI tracking, and strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical processes

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple analytical tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in SQL and at least one data visualisation tool such as Power BI or Tableau
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R35,000/month | 100% Remote
