About the Role
Remote Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-commerce Assistant to support our UK-based online retail clients. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a keen interest in online business, digital retail, and customer experience. No prior e-commerce experience is needed — comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Uploading and updating product listings on platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon
Writing and editing product descriptions for accuracy and SEO optimisation
Processing customer orders, refunds, and exchanges in a timely manner
Responding to customer enquiries via email and live chat
Monitoring stock levels and flagging low inventory to the relevant team
Assisting with promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal sales
Maintaining accurate product data, pricing, and imagery across platforms
Requirements
Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
Strong written English with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable navigating online platforms, spreadsheets, and digital tools
Good time management and the ability to work independently
An interest in e-commerce, online retail, or digital marketing
No prior experience required — training is fully included

Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
