Financial Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to support a UK-based employer in delivering financial insights and strategic reporting. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Handle data gathering, cleansing, and analysis across multiple financial systems
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, models, and reporting outputs
• Use relevant tools such as Excel, financial modelling software, and ERP systems
• Support the wider team with month-end close activities, variance analysis, and presentations
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reduce reporting inefficiencies

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and accounting tools
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R35,000/month | 100% Remote
