Senior Data Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports using BI tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and metrics
• Perform root cause analysis on business performance issues
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting
• Support data governance and documentation standards

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Strong experience with Excel and data modelling
• Exposure to Python or R for data analysis is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Salary: R35,000/month | 100% Remote
