English-Lithuanian freelance medical/life sciences translator (Remote/WFH)

We are looking for experienced medical/life sciences translators. You should have at least 2 years of translation experience in this field.

Translators are expected to adhere to deadlines and must ensure that the translation is:

• Accurate in terms of both meaning and subject-specific terminology;
• Clear and free of any awkward or unnatural constructions;
• Terminology and style guides are strictly followed;
• The instructions are carefully read and followed;
• Free of any proofreading errors.

• Native fluency in Lithuanian
• An understanding and knowledge of the relevant terminology in Lithuanian as well as in English
• Preferably higher education in any of the following fields:
  • Translation, Linguistics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in translation, translation review, editing or proofreading
• Being able to work with CAT tools (Phrase, Trados, Transit and others) or willingness to learn them
• Strong time management skills (you will be required to work on deadlines)
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
