Solutions Engineer - Japanese/English speaker
Overview
Solutions Engineers collaborate with internal teams crafting and implementing enterprise-level solutions for TransPerfect´s international portfolio of clients using the GlobalLink suite of products. They act as the clients’ main technical point of contact, working closely with Solutions Architects and Developers on the technical aspects of implementation.
Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with the Solutions Architects team to gather and analyze configuration requirements from clients
Draft project plans containing the implementation details and timelines, including risk analysis
Ensure the deadlines for implementation are met
Coordinate the installation, set-up and upgrade of GlobalLink connectors with internal teams and client system integrators
Coordinate and verify the configuration tasks in GlobalLink tools based on client requirements
Act as the primary technical point of contact and point of technical escalation for both internal teams and external clients
Assist the support team with any client configuration issues
Be involved in the lifecycle of GlobalLink products by working closely with the Product Management team, reporting client technical issues and requesting new functionalities for products based on direct client exposure
Assist clients with the coordination of GlobalLink connectors upgrades
Become the spokesperson of the team for one or more of the GlobalLink products if desired
Deploy, troubleshoot and upgrade the GlobalLink suite of products
Create custom reports for clients in MySQL
Mentor new team members as needed
Prepare trainings and procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's work
Provide trainings as needed to clients
Contribute to internal projects
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the supervisor

Required experience and qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role
Project management and client solution implementation experience
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and reading logs
Experience working with web technologies (web servers, application servers, Tomcat, etc.)
Experience with Linux
Understanding of and/or exposure to Web Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Drupal, etc.), eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP [Hybris], Magento, etc.) and other Content Management Systems (Veeva, Contentful, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary (negotiable based on skills and experience)

Working Hours & Holidays
Monday to Friday, 8 working hours between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, plus a 1-hour break
2 days off per week (weekends and public holidays)

Employment Type
1-year fixed-term contract (including a 6-month probation period), with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
During the contract period, salary, social insurance, and paid leave are equivalent to those of permanent employees
