Lead design, development, and mentoring of scalable enterprise SaaS apps at Veeva, owning features end-to-end from design to production.
Responsibilities
- Own all stages of feature implementation from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Development on technical design.
- Quickly analyze complex problems to identify path to robust solutions.
- Define and mentor on engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Provide comprehensive code reviews for engineers at all levels.
- Develop the skills of engineering talent through structured mentorship.
Requirements
- 12+ years of proven Java software development experience
- Extensive experience building high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud apps
- Proven track record architecting high-volume, scalable systems
- Hands-on with Java stack and tools: Spring, MySQL, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Solr/Lucene
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong mentorship and team-development track record
- High work ethic and integrity; do the right thing
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Must have unrestricted right to work in the United States; no sponsorship
