Lead and mentor engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise SaaS features end-to-end, shaping engineering practices in a remote US/Canada team.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product management and development on technical design and problem solving.
- Analyze complex problems quickly to identify knowns and unknowns.
- Define and mentor engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Provide comprehensive code reviews for engineers at all levels.
- Mentor engineering talent through structured, strategic guidance.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software development experience (Java)
- Extensive experience building high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud apps
- Proven track record architecting high-volume products at scale
- Hands-on with Java ecosystem: Spring, MySQL, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Solr/Lucene
- Fast-paced adaptability in a startup-like environment
- Mentorship ability to elevate team performance
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
