Develop robust, scalable Java applications for enterprise cloud platforms in the life sciences space, collaborating with product, design, and QA while mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

Accelerate application development leveraging an existing enterprise platform
Build highly scalable software with optimal performance
Lead feature innovation and drive new capabilities
Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver customer value
Contribute across backend, with opportunities in frontend and DevOps
Mentor junior engineers to grow their skills

Requirements

5+ years Java development, with enterprise cloud software preferred
Clean, testable, maintainable code in a team setting
Experience with Spring, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Tomcat, Linux, AWS
3+ years relational DB experience; expert SQL skills
Ability to mentor team members and foster high performance
Strong work ethic
Integrity and honesty aligned with PBC culture
Excellent verbal and written English communication
Unrestricted right to work in the United States; no sponsorship
